CANDLE CARE
GET THE MOST
FROM YOUR CANDLE
A candle's only as good as the way it's burned. Four small habits and you'll get every last hour out of it.
THE FIRST BURN
Let the melted wax reach the edges of the candle jar (takes 2-3 hours) to help prevent tunneling.
MIND THE CLOCK
Never burn the candle for more than 4 hours. Anything beyond that could result in a dangerously high flame.
TRIM THE WICK
Trim the wick to 1/8" to 1/4" before each use to promote a clean and even burn.
SCENT & SPACE
If you can’t smell the candle, move it. Airflow and room size impact the scent throw.
THE VESSEL
AFTER THE LAST BURN
How to clean out the vessel— and what to do with it after.
HOW TO CLEAN IT
01
Place the candle vessel in the freezer for about 2 hours, or until the remaining wax is fully hardened.
02
Gently loosen and remove the hardened wax. Wipe away any remaining residue with a paper towel or cloth.
03
Spray a small amount of rubbing alcohol onto the wick tabs and let it sit for a few minutes to help loosen the adhesive.
04
Lift or twist the wick tabs free and wipe the vessel clean.
05
If any wax or adhesive residue remains, repeat the process until the vessel is clean.
